PPT Vision signs lease on new Bloomington facility

by Jim Brubaker
Minnesota

PPT Vision will move on October 1 from their current 35,000-square-foot Eden Prairie facility to a 17,000-square-foot facility in Bloomington. PPT Vision signed a five year lease on the new facility.

To move to the new facility, Thomas Leahy, a private venture capital investor, purchased $800,000 worth of shares and joined the company's board of directors. Mr. Leahy then agreed to secure a letter of credit in a beginning amount of $237,500 in favor of the company's building owner.

PPT Vision is a developer of innovative machine vision technologies for in-line automated inspection. The company also has the industry's first intelligent camera family featuring all of the features of a full-scale machine vision system at a fraction of a cost.
