Franklin Street acquires Minneapolis-area office building in $22.5-million deal

Minneapolis-St. Paul

Wakefield, Mass.-based Franklin Street Properties Corp., an investment firm specializing in real estate, recently acquired an office building in Eden Prairie, Minn., for a purchase price of more than $22.5 million.

Completed in 2006, the building contains about 153,028 square feet of rentable space. It is 100-percent leased.

Eden Prairie is located within the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. Franklin Street Properties has managed suburban properties in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area since 2004.

This acquisition brings Franklin Street Properties' total portfolio of properties to 31. The deal closed on June 30.
